AE has chosen Moodle for it's subsidiary company HomeGrownProgrammers' (HGP) LMS system. HGP fills a void in the marketplace for a wholesome mentor - appprentice training model. HGP is directed toward the 12-18 year old student, who is mentored by AE professionals in partnership with their parent(s). Parent(s) are encouraged to audit the class with their child, partnering with our teachers, parent(s) can often learn or refresh a skill as their child gains the same skill.

Our LMS system is hosted along side our CMS system and allows for website integration options that would not as easily be offered via a standalone implementation. LMS course work and the associated management of those classrooms extend easily via the internet. We offer many of the college level features for online collaboration, however are sensitive to parental controls. Student self-service, instructor-led forums and blogs, class course glossary collaboration, Skype, Yugma, Wink are a few of the student options we are utilizing during training.
