Selenium

For an ultimately broad range of web applications, Automation Excellence uses Selenium, an open source software by ThoughtWorks. This versatile automation tool executes scenarios in almost any web browser and any operating system to validate browser compatibility and system functionality. Selenium RC, the specific version used, has two main parts. The first is a remotely controlled server that can open, close, and navigate on any supported browser, using HTTP protocol. The second is a collection of the client libraries for any computer language you choose. Tests may be written in any programming language, allowing it to fit into almost any unit testing framework. Several drivers (for Python, Ruby, .NET, Perl, Java, and PHP) allow for increased flexibility.

Automation Excellence has recently started using Selenium for its adaptability and potential. It should remain for some time to come as another important tool in AE’s testing toolbag. AE also integrates Selenium into all their Web Design Services so your web site will have an automation testing framework built right into it. We support Drupal and its robust modules, including Selenium. AE wants to give customers a high level of confidence in their product and their capital expenditures.
